Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC. is an independent, employee owned, investment consulting firm that works with fiduciary clients, including retirement plan sponsors, institutions, non- profit organizations and wealthy families. We provide customized investment advisory services to assist our clients in achieving their investment objectives while fulfilling their fiduciary obligations. We currently advise over 10 billion in total assets. We are NOT a broker, nor do we have affiliations with either. We receive compensation for investment consulting services solely from our clients, so as to avoid any conflicts of interest. As such, our sole allegiance is to our clients.


Internship Description


Fiduciary Investment Advisors, LLC (FIA) interns perform a variety of client services, research and administrative duties to ensure that clients of FIA receive top-quality service.    The firm’s core set of consulting services includes asset allocation analysis, investment policy statement development, investment management searches, and on-going performance monitoring.  The firm is also asked to periodically assist clients with portfolio diagnostic reviews, custodian bank searches, commission recapture analyses and the like.  In assisting with these tasks, the intern is expected to make full use of the resources and formats made available by the firm.


Interns are expected to professionally represent Fiduciary Investment Advisors in all contact with clients and their investment managers and to accurately communicate and enforce all established policies and procedures designed to provide consistent, quality service to clients.


Duties may include analytical work product on managers or investment funds.  Interns may periodically be asked to conduct research on other topics of interest such as new asset classes & strategies and developments in the capital markets.


Interns should not hesitate to reach out to their supervisor or, as appropriate, senior staff from the firm should they need clarification and/or assistance in accomplishing assigned tasks in a manner consistent with the firm’s expectations.


The internship is unpaid and interns generally work about 15 hours per week. We are flexible with hours.
